the girlie behind the camera
Photography found me during one of the most meaningful seasons of my life. After the passing of my grandfather, I felt drawn to pick up a camera—something he loved deeply. He was a landscape photographer who traveled the world capturing cultures, places, and moments that many people never get the chance to experience. But more than that, he taught me the importance of family and preserving the small, meaningful moments that often pass by too quickly. That’s where my passion truly began.
Now, as a mom to my beautiful daughter, that meaning has only grown stronger. She is my world—along with her dad—and they are the reason I understand just how important it is to freeze time, even just for a moment. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me coaching volleyball, out on the golf course, playing pickleball, or soaking up sunshine at the lake or pool. I love wake surfing, traveling, going to professional sporting events and concerts, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Photography, for me, is more than just images—it’s about capturing connection, emotion, and the moments you’ll want to hold onto forever.
